Adoption

Adoption can shape identity, belonging, and family relationships in profound ways. I work with adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth parents explore their stories with compassion and clarity. Together we make space for complex emotions such as loyalty conflicts, grief, and questions of identity. We can create a safe, grounded environment where you can feel seen, understood, and supported as you navigate the lifelong journey of adoption.

Grief

Grief shows up in many forms and it deserves a place to be honored. I walk alongside clients with gentleness and steadiness, helping them process overwhelming emotions while also making room for meaning, memory, and healing. I support clients in reconnecting with themselves in the midst of deep pain. You don’t have to grieve alone; I offer a space where your story, your pace, and your heart matter.

Parenting

Parenting children or young adults can be both beautiful and overwhelming, especially when their needs, your history, or family patterns feel activated. I help parents understand their own attachment stories, reduce shame, and respond to their children with greater attunement and confidence. Whether you're navigating tantrums and early childhood challenges or supporting a young adult finding their independence, we work together to create strategies that fit your family’s rhythms.

Transitions

Major life changes often bring a mix of excitement, fear, and grief. I help clients slow down, make sense of what’s shifting, and reconnect with their values so they can move forward with clarity and confidence. We explore both the practical and emotional layers of transition, including identity changes, relational stress, and uncertainty. Together we create space for grounded decision-making and steady support as you navigate what comes next.

Marriage

Relationships can be deeply fulfilling and equally challenging, especially during seasons of conflict, distance, or major transition. Using Gottman methods, I help couples uncover the patterns that keep them stuck and build new ways of reaching for each other with vulnerability and clarity. We focus on strengthening emotional bonds, improving communication, and fostering secure attachment within the partnership.

ASL

Before becoming a therapist, I was a nationally certified sign language interpreter and have been part of the Deaf community since childhood. This lived experience allows me to offer culturally informed, accessible, and respectful care to Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing clients and their families. I understand the unique relational, communication, and identity dynamics that can arise within Deaf/HH and hearing family systems. Whether we work in ASL, spoken English, or a mix of both, you’ll find a therapist who truly “gets it” and honors your world.
